Birla mandir is one of the major attractions of capital city Delhi. The construction of this temple was started in 1933 and completed in 1939. It was built by Jugal Kishor Birla that’s why this temple was named Birla. This temple is dedicated to Laxminarayan so it’s also known as The Laxminarayan temple. This temple is Delhi’s first large Hindu temple and it is spread over 3 hectares. This temple has small shrines on the sides that are dedicated to Shiva, Ganesha, Hanuman and Buddha. Birla temple is famous for its Janamsthmi preparations. Thus, visiting this temple on Janamasthmi, Diwali and ram navmi give an amazing experience to visitors.

INDIA GATE
India Gate also known as Delhi Memorial is located on the eastern edge of the “ceremonial axis” of New Delhi, India, astride the Rajpath. It is All India War Memorial and the epitome of an architectural marvel in India. It was built in memory of 70,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army who died in the First World War which was fought between 1914-1921. The names of 13,300 servicemen’s soldiers and officers from the United Kingdom are etched on the walls of this memorial India Gate. This war memorial displays the courage of all the war fighters. Delhi trip is incomplete without visiting this unique and beautiful The India gate. it has become a popular picnic spot for visitors.
PARLIAMENT HOUSE
The Old Parliament House is officially recognized as the Samvidhan Sadan. It was opened in 18 January 1927 as the seat of the Imperial Legislative Council of India. the Old Parliament House was designed by British architects Sir Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker. The construction of this building was started in 1921 and completed in 1927. In January 1927 is was opened as the seat of the Imperial Legislative Council of India. Near The Old Parliament House building The New Parliament House is built on a triangular plot. It was inaugurated on 28 May 2023 as part of the Indian government’s Central Vista Redevelopment Project.
INDIRA GANDHI MUSEUM
Indira Gandhi Memorial Museum was the house of the former Prime Minister of India and later it was converted into a museum. The rare photographs of the Nationalist movement, of the personal moments of the Nehru- Gandhi family and of Indira Gandhi’s childhood cam be seen in this museum. In Indira Gandhi Memorial Museum photographs, newspaper articles and clippings related to Indira Gandhi killing and Rajeev Gandhi’s funeral pyres, awards clippings are displayed. Their personal objects like clothes, pens and bags of both Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi are available in the collection. Indira Gandhi’s book collection and the gifts she received from many people are also part of Indira Gandhi Memorial Museum.
RAJGHAT
Rajghat is a memorial which is located in Delhi, India. Mahatma Gandhi’s remains were cremated here on 31 January 1948. This memorial is devoted to him and the memorial built in his memory is a black marble platform which is seated in the middle of a beautiful garden. Many locals and foreign dignitaries visit this memorial to pay their respect to Mahatma Gandhi. Mahatma Gandhi’s last words “Hey Ram” are engraved on it and it has an eternal flame at one end.

QUTUB MINAR
Qutub Minar is the tallest minaret in India which is located in Mehrauli, Delhi. This minaret is one of the iconic monuments of Delhi. Qutub Minar is recognized as “Victory Tower” because it marked the beginning of the Muslim rule in India. this is a 72.5-meter-tall tapering tower and it has five storeys. At base this minaret has 14.3 meters diameter which reduces to 2.7 meters at the top. Qutub Minar is made with red sandstone and it has 379 steps spiral staircase. First story construction of this minaret was started in 1192 by the Delhi Sultanate founder Qutb ud Din Aibak. The design of Qutub Minar was inspired by the Minaret of Jam in Afghanistan. After Qutb ud Din Aibak his successor and son-in-law Shamsuddin Iltutmish completed this minaret with the construction of three more storeys. In 1993 it became a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it is one of the most visited tourist spots in Delhi.
LOTUS TEMPLE
The Lotus Temple is a Bahai House of Worship which is situated in New Delhi, India. the foundation stone of this temple was laid in 19 October 1977 and it was dedicated in December 1986. It is named lotus temple because of its unique lotus-like shape. This temple is not for any specific religion but this Bahá’í House of Worship is for people of all religion and qualification. In symbolize the oneness of religions and humanity. People of all religions can came here to pray and to read the context of scriptures of different religions. Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and Isai all are welcomed in this temple. They can come to meditate and to read the sacred writings of Bahai faith and other religions. The architectural of Lotus Temple is very unique and it has won numerous awards because of it. This beautifully designed temple has been featured in different newspapers and magazine articles. In 2001, the Lotus Temple was declared the most visited building in the world.
RED FORT
The Red Fort or Mughal fort historically served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors. The construction of this fort was started on 12 May 1638 by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan when he decided to shift the Mughal regime capital from Agra city to Delhi. Ustad Ahmad Lahori who constructed the Taj Mahal was the architecture of Red Fort as well. This Fort originally is red and white and because of its massive enclosing red sandstone walls it is named red fort or Lal Quila. When British took over this fort they use it as a prison for some time so it is recognized as a national significance monument as well. The Red Fort is where Indian independence was first celebrated on 15 August 1947 by hoisting Indian flag. Since then every year on 15 August India’s Independence Day the prime minister of India hoists Indian flag here and delivers a nationally broadcast speech from Red Fort.
AKSHARDHAM
Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple is situated in Delhi close to the border with Noida. It is a Hindu temple and it stands as a tribute to Lord Swaminarayan. It reflects the traditional and modern Hindu culture, spirituality and architecture. This Mandir was designed by BAPS Swamis and Virendra Trivedi, a member of the Sompura family and it was constructed by BAPS. Akshardham temple is inspired by Yogiji Maharaj and it is created by Pramukh Swami Maharaj. The construction of this temple began on 8 November 2000 and on 6 November 2005 it was officially opened. In the presence of A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, Manmohan Singh, L.K Advani and B.L Joshi, Pramukh Swami Maharaj opened Akshardham temple officially.
