AGRA FORT
Agra Fort is recognized as a historical fort that was built in 1573. It was built when one of the greatest emperors of Mughal Dynasty Akbar was the king. After eight long years it was completed with the hardship of more than 4000 workers. It became the main residence of Mughal emperors till 1638. From the balconies of the pavilions Yamuna River and taj mahal can be seen. Looking at the taj mahal from its balconies is very mesmerizing. The pure marble and intricate carvings are the main attraction of this fort. Delhi Gate, Amar Singh Gate, Hathi Pol, and Ghaznin Gate are four gates that are situated in this fort. Apart from these gates Jahangir Mahal, Khas Mahal, Diwan-i-Khass, Diwan-i-Am, Machchhi Bhawan and Moti Masjid also grab the attention of visitors. After 1638 when Delhi become the capital at place of Agra and Mughal emperors moved to Delhi. After this Agra Fort was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site.
